Our Troop is very diverse, comprised of 50-55 scouts ranging in rank from Scout to Eagle. We maintain 6-8 active patrols and a depth of active adult leadership. The Troop is focused on maintaining the "out" in Scouting, consistently offering 8-10 outdoor activities a year consisting of camping, backpacking, canoe/kayaking, rafting, rock climbing and biking. The Troop also focuses on community service, managing 3-4 service projects a year that serve our local community. Troop 393 has an active Life to Eagle program for those interested in obtaining the highest honor as a Scout. Dues for the Troop are $35 per month or $400 for the year. Dues cover the costs of camping events, courts of honor, badges and insignia, transportation costs and program materials.

README!: The Troop 393 website (bsa393.org), and the Scouting America (my.scouting.org) website are two different things. Please DO NOT request a Troop 393 website account for your scout and parent/guardian until you have registered via the BeAScout website with Scouting America and your application has been accepted.
Once the application has been accepted, you will be requested to create (2) Troop 393 website accounts, one for the parent or guardian, and one for the scout. When registering, the primary email address for the scout's account should be the scout's own address, not the parent. It is very important that each scout is managing his own online affairs with the Troop, following emails and logging into the website. For security purposes, the scout account is linked to the parent/guardian account and everything the scout is copied on, so will the adult.
